The Stelvio Quadrifoglio features an active independent suspension that is set up to enhance handling, ride quality and overall performance. Adaptive damping technology allows each wheel on the same axle to move vertically, independently of all the others, and the rear axle uses a four-and-a-half link system. All this allows for fast and precise steering, higher performance and lateral acceleration, better comfort and a more intuitive and connected driving experience.

For a more natural feel and intense performance, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio and its Q4 all-wheel-drive system feature a mechanical limited-slip differential, which helps the vehicle achieve optimal handling and cornering. The gears and clutches system adjusts to the speed of the wheels, delivering more torque to the wheel with the most grip, reducing understeer or oversteer, increasing stability and allowing for pure driving pleasure.

Thanks to Q4 technology, the Alfa Romeo four-wheel drive system combines maximum control and high performance. The real-time torque distribution between the front and rear axles can help make driving easier while the system monitors the road and the traction conditions.

On Quadrifoglio models the Alfa Romeo DNA Drive Mode Selector exclusively features Race mode. The selector allows you to switch between the following driving modes:
D: Dynamic mode, for sporty driving. Features a loud exhaust system setting, sporty mapping for both the engine and the gearbox, more traction during turns and higher accelerator pedal sensitivity.
N: Natural mode, for standard engine and gearbox response coupled with a more comfortable suspension setup.

A: Advanced efficiency mode, engineered to maximize efficiency and reduce emissions.
R: Race mode, (exclusive to Quadrifoglio) provides limited electronic driving systems intervention; custom track-ready steering, Adaptive Cruise Control², braking and suspension settings; and the exhaust system setting; all for the most flawless driving experience ever.

The available LaneSense® Lane Keep Assist System³ helps prevent potential accidents by regularly monitoring vehicle position in relation to lane markings. Standard Lane Departure Warning provides audible and visual alerts for drivers, the LaneSense system can actively adjust and help correct vehicle position if unintentional lane departure is detected. Included in the available Active Assist Plus Package, Active Blind Spot Assist⁴ uses proximity sensors to scan and help prevent collisions with vehicles in the driver’s blind spot. Drivers are alerted when obstructions are in their blind spot with visual warnings first—if the driver then activates their turn signal indicating a lane change, audible and tactile warnings are also engaged.

Thanks to the combination of the available Active Cruise Control and several lane-centering technologies, Traffic Jam and Highway Assist autonomously handles the speed of the vehicle and distance from other vehicles ahead. It also works to keep the vehicle in its lane, on both city streets and highway.

Included in the available Active Assist Plus Package, Intelligent Speed Control⁶ helps enable drivers to maintain a set speed with ease. By using built-in cameras and scanners, the system observes the road ahead for traffic sign markers, then recommends to drivers the appropriate speed adjustment if necessary.

Traffic Sign Recognition detects and displays common road signs to the driver inside the vehicle in real-time, including speed limits, no passing and other common road signs.
